just generally dumping love on this game! it’s been hard for me to find a game that really hits in a few years, and when AT was announced back in maybe december? or whenever it was, it was the first in a while to actually ping my attention in a serious way. i’m so glad i ended up apping because it has really managed to hit all my buttons, and the ooc community is so wonderful—i am painfully shy and not very good at reaching out to people, but the atmosphere that has been cultivated by the players and mods has made it really easy to settle in and play to my heart’s content. i can tell the mods have put a lot of care into crafting the world, too, and that makes me beyond excited to see what events are still on the horizon for us ❤️❤️❤️

The Kenoma cast is so good that it's part of why I've been waffling on whether Howl really is going to switch sides, even though that was my entire plan when I apped to this game...!!! I mean it is probably going to still happen but GOD, it's going to be that much juicer when it does, with all the amazing players and characters on the Kenoma side. We make a pretty good band of evil bastards and depressed scrunglies... Howl will find a way to love everyone among the violence and despair, just you wait.

We need to get back on some threads with Yuya and Ernesto sometime! He's such a cute little guy, and I like his deep good lad energy despite apparently having committed a whole genocide at one point. YGO seems like an increasingly wild ride with each sequential series that comes out, and I'm delighted to learn more about him through rp.

I also want to have Ernesto talk more to your plant man at some point. Syr seems like a complicated character the sort that Ernesto would relate to.

Aru you are the biggest sweetheart! You go out of your way to make people feel welcome and to offer help to any player who needs it, have so many positive words for others, and even though you've got your own busy schedule attempt to set things up ICly for new players to enjoy as well. The game has been so fun and welcoming, and I think you're a good chunk of helping cultivate that atmosphere!

I love Hiccup a lot, I can imagine his voice in my head when I get your tags, and he's a fun and hard working guy. I'm excited for him and Ernesto to continue to get to know each other in the game and become better friends. Also for Hiccup to teach Ernesto the old school way of making weapons in the future.

I haven't had a chance to hit up Miyako yet, but I grew up on digimon, so I'm looking forward to my chance soon!

REACHES FOR EMET!!! Crim I've been wanting CR with Emet for awhile, and even though events going down as they did means that Ernesto probably won't be getting any civil CR with him (rip... u_u) I am excited to toss a stupid teenage boy at him for Emet to feel tired of on sight alone.

Also big shout out appreciation to your extremely important and well researched essays on various bits of AT lore like Abel and the Regent's clear connection (seeing as they are the same person). I feel like other scholarly article writers could and should take note of how you do it.

Z! I'm so glad for the chance to have met (remet??) you thanks to this game! I'm also glad you reached out to talk to me on discord, because I try to put on this facade of social confidence, but it's all s sham and people reaching out to me first means A LOT. Talking to you and getting to know you has been a genuine highlight of my experience here, and I appreciate you sliding me all this WoT lore to the point that I have made the potentially questionable decision to read the books myself (coincidentally a cook named Ciel was mentioned in chapter 15 of the first book I just discovered today, and was disappointed that Ciel does not interact with Rand at all).

I also absolutely adore Rand. HE'S A GREAT BIG MESS which admittedly is how I prefer characters anyways. He's a sweet lad, but two of my favorite types of arcs are roads to redemption as well as slow corruption of heroes, so I'm really looking forward to him getting WORSE as he goes. I know we have plans for him and Ernesto, but the game throws so many curveballs that I'm also excited to see how they react to those in the future, and how they end up influencing and shaping each other as they get closer.

Ruki Ciel is so good, and she's trying so hard in some of the worst ways she could possibly be trying hard, and that just makes her even better. Complicated and conflicted characters who bury feelings are just... /clenches fist AND CIEL is so good at hitting on all of that. I'm really glad that after current events COMPLETELY TANKED any chance of Ernesto and Ciel having positive CR (though very jazzed for their negative CR coming up), that I at least caved in wanting to dip my toes into the Kenoma water and brought over an idiot that Ciel is going to feel at least someone responsible for keeping from dying at first. Getting to rp off of and see many sides of her is so exciting for me!

AT has been so engaging and fun that not only did I break my years-long avoidance of plot heavy/faction games, I also ended up wanting to play two characters??? I’m especially grateful for people who take a chance on Hayame— I know she’s a difficult lady to get along with, and the fact that people have been so supportive OOC of the efforts it takes to advance CR IC has been a huge relief. Hayame might be a difficult lady, but she's a difficult lady in the best possible way. I love having characters in games who are going to be unpleasant and abrasive to the people that talk to them, because it makes the experience so much more fun to have that mix of CR types, especially since for me at least Hayame is an ally instead of an enemy, so it forces Ernesto to have to adjust and try to find new ways of getting on her good side. In canon he's supposed to be really good at smoothing things over with people and getting along well with all types, and getting to attempt that with Hayame has me rubbing my grubby little paws together in excitement as I do my best to write him navigating social interactions with a girl who WILL NOT make it easy on him. She's JUST so much fun, and I look forward to more threads with her!

I'm also really liking Havoc so far, and look forward to the probably weird "friendship"?? that she and Atsumu MIGHT?? develop as time goes on. I'm not canon familiar, but her concept is so interesting, so I'm excited to learn more about her.

MIRU I AM so happy that in joining this game I have gotten the chance to know you. You're a horrendous creature, and I'm very blessed that I've gotten to become your friend. In all seriousness you're a very supportive person to be around, you're extremely creative, and your art is absolutely amazing. I love hearing your thoughts not just about Gen as your head becomes more and more full of bees, but about things in general.

Gen is also a horrible delight. He's objectively kind of a shitty guy, but he's so sad in a pathetic way especially when you consider how young he is, and it's hard not to have your heart go out for him a little. I think you do a wonderful job conveying what a dickhead he is while also touching on so much of the trauma he's endured that made him that way in a way that never feels over the top. He's had a really good character arc here in AT too, and I'm excited to see his rise and fall again as he goes, and the crushing sadness that's going to bring with it.
