Being able to tag you was a very early draw for me to this game, and that CR has played out in the most amazing way. Emet really is the mentor Howl needed and never really had β and at the same time, not at all, considering how wide the gulf between their personal values really is, if they were ever to talk about it without any Kenoma/brainwashing. It's the exact kind of complex, complicated, uneasy yet affectionate CR that I crave, and it wouldn't be possible if you weren't such an amazing player. I seriously look forward to wherever the heck their relationship is going to go in the future.

but in all seriousness, even though weβve only had a couple threads iβve really enjoyed them because i can tell that you put a lot of care into your portrayal of him, which is easy to see despite being canonblind! like others have said, youβre also great about keeping things organized and accessible for the players, and everything you bring to the game is greatly appreciated β€οΈ

i just have to start out by saying that your Emet is such a delight and i can always hear his voice so clearly in your tags!! reading your threads is always wonderful and considering how complicated and difficult a character he is, I'm always so impressed with how you manage to pull him off.
but what i love the MOST about you is how much you are always organizing and helping out oocly - you always try to get people involved in cool things, are always offering interesting resources and ideas, and are always happy to help even if the project you take on is a lot of work!! it just goes to show what a thoughtful person you are and i deeply appreciate that. you are the sort of person who makes dwrp wonderful. I absolutely adore the way you balance Emet-Selch's clearly prickly attitude with his well-hidden soft spots. The balance you strike between him being kind of an ornery shitty mean granpa and a very worn-down, soft-hearted person who can't help caring despite knowing he shouldn't is just soooooo exquisite. While I admittedly know nothing about FF14, I've been told your portrayal of him is absolutely spot-on, and I can easily believe it. It's obvious you put so much care into his interiority and his thought processes, and that love and attention come across so clearly in all of his tags. Everything he does feels so nuanced and well-crafted, and you manage to juggle his more serious aspects with his goofier, pettier moments so well, it makes him an absolute delight to play off of! I'm always super pleased to rubberneck at whatever he gets up to, and I'm ... (fighting back tears) really hype ... to see where our CR goes henceforth ...
