EVENT #5: SOVEREIGN CITIZENS
Sovereign Citizens
All across Horos, even in lands that have long since forsaken the Legacies, Soviseri is a month of political action. Most years, this simply means annual elections; for the faithful, organizations and governments big and small take this opportunity to bask in the wisdom of the Sovereign while reassessing their leadership and strategies, while the more secular simply see it as a convenient waymark on the yearly calendar. Soviseri allows them to face the remainder of the cycle with fresh eyes.
Most years, these customs will pass uneventfully, barring the moderate confusion that can result when too many leaderships change at once. This year, however, is not like others: for the one that considers themself the most sovereign of sovereigns has witnessed the seeds of revolt take root in the most fertile soil. Though they have not yet begun to sprout, let alone flourish, the Regent knows full well where such small things can lead. It's because of this that they intend to salt the earth and remind the cities of Horos the value of the 'peace' they've experienced while allowing them their reign.
This event will last from the 13th to the 25th of Soviseri.

◆ THE REGENT'S ADDRESS: On the eve of the 13th, near the height of the Sovereign's Moon, all Aions will have their spirits summoned into a metaphysical court of the Regent's making. They'll only have enough time to seat themselves somewhere before the vision overtakes them, bringing them into the Regent's presence for what will be the first time for many. It is in this meeting of souls that the Regent will express their intent to punish the Pleroma's supporters in Godsblood and Venera, and to declare that it will be at the hands of their Kenoma followers. The Pleroma will be able to leave the communion unharmed, but the message is clear: without intervention, Godsblood and Venera will suffer.
◆ AN EXECUTION (GODSBLOOD): The 15th would normally be a day of public debates and speeches, a time for those in power to prove their worth in full sight of the Sovereign, but all of that will be thrown into discord at the public announcement that Vaeka Lovenskol is to face public execution for her crimes against the Regent. What crimes? Well, apparently she has been working as part of a resistant unit intent on aiding the Pleroma menace... a fact that any Pleroma in Greentruth will know to be true. Vaeka has been one of the brave souls working to keep the entry to Greentruth concealed, guiding what new Pleroma they become aware of to its gates.
How she was exposed is not exactly clear, but she is scheduled for a public execution in Godsblood's main square on the 20th. That means there are five days to snatch her from the Kenoma sent to guard her, lest she be made an example to her people.
◆ TRIMMING THE VINE (VENERA): While the execution in Godsblood is a public affair, what happens Venera is far more insidious. Despite the meek and escapist nature of its citizens, a spark has been lit beneath the surface, spurred by the Aion's actions within the city during the Innocence's contagion, as well as the Achamite's and Hylician's inaction. Some Venerans that were either spotted supporting the Pleroma or that seek to resist the Regent's will have been rooted out, and will be made to pay for their transgressions by the Kenoma first and foremost.
From the 15th to the 25th, the Kenoma will be ordered to work their way through a hit list of sorts, finding and imprisoning Veneran troublemakers, with the intent of essentially 'disappearing' them. Prisoners will be held for a day or so after capture for a meaningless trial by the Achamites present, and then be executed.
◆ MARCHING ORDERS (KENOMA): As the Regent has observed there is a finite limit to what the Kenoma will do without orders, they are now being explicit; all Kenoma are required to participate in the subjugation of either Godsblood or Venera during these activities. Whether or not Kenoma players are available to play out things on an OOC level, all must be at least handwaved to ICly participate in this mission by signing up for duty in either Venera or Godsblood down below. Failure to perform IC will be met with IC punishment.
In addition to their mission duties, the Regent is also ordering all their Kenoma to attempt to lure out and capture as many Pleroma as possible. How they go about this is up to each individual, but the Regent expects that most Pleroma will not be able to resist making an appearance at either location.

Silco | Kenoma | Visionary
Just continuing the snitch lifeI'm super flexible, and am super down for pretty much doing whatever! Silco is a non-combatant, so he will be mostly doing the sneak thing, but if he gets in too much trouble...I am also interested in him using his shimmer touch ability if anyone is interested in being super buffed. This can be either a fellow kenomie in trouble, or someone coming to his rescue, to forcing a pleromie to go berserk and cause damage, etc. The opportunities are endless, and I'm super down for a lot of it!
If you want to chat or bounce ideas, feel free to hit me up on Discord at Jillidan#4930, or on plurk at

Wwwwwwould you potentially be interested in a team-up between these two men and their vastly differing viewpoints on life? Maybe Silco gets into a sticky situation and needs someone to bail him out (and then optionally they work together for a few more dudes, depending on how things go). I imagine it would have to be with NPCs for ease of threading (unless you've got some Pleroma PVP lined up) but I'm pretty flexible on the particulars if this is something you're interested in.
BUT ALSO part 2, if Silco would like to continue his streak of snitching, Eustace will be handing Dokja's shard back to Ernesto near the end of the event after Dokja gets killed, if he wants to catch wind of that somehow and tattle on his fellow Kenoma for giving back a Pleroma shard instead of keeping it, smh. I'm still hammering out the finer details but I can let you know once things are decided how it might shake out.

I would honestly love both of these!! I think it would be really fun, and Silco could very easily get into a sticky situation and not have a way out since he's... a mostly regular human and when he's in combat he can't slink away invisibly, so he'd be very stuck! I think having Eustace bailing him out would be fun!!
And also let him snitch... he wil always snitch...

And I am happy to have Eustace bail Silco out if he sees a kerfluffle going down. He doesn't even like Silco that much because he thinks Silco looks and acts shady as shit (way to be a judgmental ho) but unfortunately they are teammates so he will help a buddy out...... If you want, Silco can also catch hints of how Done with all of this Eustace is. He's usually pretty good at keeping his distate in check but if we set it in the latter half of the event and they've been doing this for awhile, it'll be harder for him to reign it all in.

just selling people out... eventually someone is going to have to punish him for it :')
Oh man yeah, that would be great! (and it's ok Eustace, you're right and you should say it, he's shady as fuck...) I think that would be an excellent way for Silco to already be like...suspicious of him and have reason to keep an eye on later actions so he'll have snitchin' opportunities! We'll plan for Silco to get in trouble maybe going after a target that had tried to get a bodyguard or something, so he's in trouble?
no subject
Also it's still kind of up in the air since Ernesto's player is involved in all the Godsblood stuff buuuuuuut it kind of sounds like Eustace and Ernesto will be meeting up somewhere to do The Exchange™ so Silco can catch sight of Eustace sneaking off and do his lil invisiblity thing to tail him maybe? I'll definitely let you know the specifics once Leigh has all the Godsblood stuff hammered down but that seems to be the general gist of things now, we're mostly just waiting to see how timing will work out.

And that sounds great, just lmk either here or on Plurk and we can work things out! I'm flexible!

But at the same time I don't wanna dump all the work on you so I'm happy to pingpong ideas back and forth if we need to.

This is my idea, and you can let me know how you feel about it -- I was thinking about this the other day!
The NPC I'm thinking of is a wealthy Veneran who made their fortune in the farming business. As they're rather wealthy, they have been funneling money toward the resistance efforts. Silco would specifically track him down thinking he will be easy to just slice his throat and go -- but as he's moneyed, he would have a bodyguard or two who would be the ones to give Silco trouble and need an assist later.
Let me know if you have ideas or think of anything!

Although as a note, I thiiink it was stated that they're not supposed to be killing their hit list targets right away and instead capturing them so they can undergo their fake trial before being executed, if that would make a difference in how Silco approaches things. Correct me if I'm wrong on that though!
no subject
And yes you ARE right!! Probably not going to change too much in how he goes through the steps, since he's not extremely strong, he'll probably try to take him by like incapacitating him or something, which still leads him to getting into trouble with the guards, and then they can deal with them, and capture, etc.
Since I think that the mods probably wouldn't go for extra NPC death, maybe after Eustace gets into the fight, and they realize how out of their depth they are, we can assume they decide to scamper off eventually without getting captured as well -- since I think that would upset the balance? They're paid mooks anyway

Since I think our current threads are just about wrapping up, as long as you don't already have too much on your plate, I wonder if you'd be okay with me requesting a cooperation thread in Venera? Gen kind of hates the job that they have to do, and would thus be looking for reasons why he should stick with it. And since he's pinned Silco as a "Villain (neutral)" he might look to Silco for 'guidance' on why it's worth doing this horrible work. So if Silco wouldn't mind offering some nice, helpful, totally benign advice, maybe ... ? :')
