EVENT #5: SOVEREIGN CITIZENS
Sovereign Citizens
All across Horos, even in lands that have long since forsaken the Legacies, Soviseri is a month of political action. Most years, this simply means annual elections; for the faithful, organizations and governments big and small take this opportunity to bask in the wisdom of the Sovereign while reassessing their leadership and strategies, while the more secular simply see it as a convenient waymark on the yearly calendar. Soviseri allows them to face the remainder of the cycle with fresh eyes.
Most years, these customs will pass uneventfully, barring the moderate confusion that can result when too many leaderships change at once. This year, however, is not like others: for the one that considers themself the most sovereign of sovereigns has witnessed the seeds of revolt take root in the most fertile soil. Though they have not yet begun to sprout, let alone flourish, the Regent knows full well where such small things can lead. It's because of this that they intend to salt the earth and remind the cities of Horos the value of the 'peace' they've experienced while allowing them their reign.
This event will last from the 13th to the 25th of Soviseri.

◆ THE REGENT'S ADDRESS: On the eve of the 13th, near the height of the Sovereign's Moon, all Aions will have their spirits summoned into a metaphysical court of the Regent's making. They'll only have enough time to seat themselves somewhere before the vision overtakes them, bringing them into the Regent's presence for what will be the first time for many. It is in this meeting of souls that the Regent will express their intent to punish the Pleroma's supporters in Godsblood and Venera, and to declare that it will be at the hands of their Kenoma followers. The Pleroma will be able to leave the communion unharmed, but the message is clear: without intervention, Godsblood and Venera will suffer.
◆ AN EXECUTION (GODSBLOOD): The 15th would normally be a day of public debates and speeches, a time for those in power to prove their worth in full sight of the Sovereign, but all of that will be thrown into discord at the public announcement that Vaeka Lovenskol is to face public execution for her crimes against the Regent. What crimes? Well, apparently she has been working as part of a resistant unit intent on aiding the Pleroma menace... a fact that any Pleroma in Greentruth will know to be true. Vaeka has been one of the brave souls working to keep the entry to Greentruth concealed, guiding what new Pleroma they become aware of to its gates.
How she was exposed is not exactly clear, but she is scheduled for a public execution in Godsblood's main square on the 20th. That means there are five days to snatch her from the Kenoma sent to guard her, lest she be made an example to her people.
◆ TRIMMING THE VINE (VENERA): While the execution in Godsblood is a public affair, what happens Venera is far more insidious. Despite the meek and escapist nature of its citizens, a spark has been lit beneath the surface, spurred by the Aion's actions within the city during the Innocence's contagion, as well as the Achamite's and Hylician's inaction. Some Venerans that were either spotted supporting the Pleroma or that seek to resist the Regent's will have been rooted out, and will be made to pay for their transgressions by the Kenoma first and foremost.
From the 15th to the 25th, the Kenoma will be ordered to work their way through a hit list of sorts, finding and imprisoning Veneran troublemakers, with the intent of essentially 'disappearing' them. Prisoners will be held for a day or so after capture for a meaningless trial by the Achamites present, and then be executed.
◆ MARCHING ORDERS (KENOMA): As the Regent has observed there is a finite limit to what the Kenoma will do without orders, they are now being explicit; all Kenoma are required to participate in the subjugation of either Godsblood or Venera during these activities. Whether or not Kenoma players are available to play out things on an OOC level, all must be at least handwaved to ICly participate in this mission by signing up for duty in either Venera or Godsblood down below. Failure to perform IC will be met with IC punishment.
In addition to their mission duties, the Regent is also ordering all their Kenoma to attempt to lure out and capture as many Pleroma as possible. How they go about this is up to each individual, but the Regent expects that most Pleroma will not be able to resist making an appearance at either location.

makoto & yuuta
Barring any reassignment, my plan is for Makoto to go to Venera to carry out the Regent's will by making dissidents disappear. (: It's more in his nature to do so quietly, so he will be using various tricks like glamours, etc. to try to navigate the city, root out the suspects, and secure their capture without being discovered. That having been said, any T2 Aions would be able to suss that out immediately, so... He's also going to be ready to fight. 🗡️
For fellow Kenoma, I'm interested in potential team-ups to get shit done, or... if there are any Kenoma still not crazy about this whole thing and perhaps dragging their feet. 🤔 He can try to give you a tough love pep talk... or make things worse. Up to you! For any Pleroma in the area, I'm down for any confrontations! T2 Aions will have an easier time finding him, but certainly not impossible for T1.
I'm not above Makoto getting either dissipated or kidnapped (or both), but I would prefer chat about it and discuss how things might pan out. He has... multiple... contingencies set up for something like that. Regardless, it is my ultimate plan for him to get extremely fucked over (with his curse hopefully helping seal the deal), thus motivating him to try to actually get rid of it. But this could happen in this event or later, and I'm also open for any Pleromies that wanna get kidnapped... I'm open for anything. :3 Just let me know!
YUUTA OKKOTSU | PLEROMA | LOVER
Yuuta will be in Godsblood trying to save Vaeka! Though any T2 Aions will be able to spot him immediately, one of Yuuta's strengths (??) is he's a fairly underwhelming-looking guy who is secretly a powerhouse. He is uncannily good at using his surroundings to his advantage, and he's super agile and strong... The last time he was in a situation like this, he was actually the one carrying out the execution (he got better, don't worry about it), so his efficiency and efficacy in this arena are fairly well-known.
When it comes to actually trying to extract Vaeka, he will be looking to do so in a team effort... So any other Pleroma who want to team up and work out some ideas, hit me up! He's more of a follower than a leader, but if necessary, he can step up and try to make some decisions. He's pretty strong, and I'm always thirsty for big, stupid shounen fight threads, so if any Kenoma wanna FIGHT, I would welcome you with open arms! His primary interests in this situation are 1) saving Vaeka, 2) minimizing risk to the people of Godsblood that will likely be in attendance, and 3) subduing any Kenoma (with his priorities also being roughly in that order).

i feel like at this point we just give up on all efforts to find johnny a horse or horse equivalent and just instead make a shoulder harness-mounted seat for johnny that he can just wear on his back to carry him around... the ultimate in team-up technology
but YES i do want them to team up, and if johnny let him know how his powers work, he would definitely offer to help do this for him... his abilities might be a lot more well-suited for this type of scenario, given that yuuta's tend to be a little more... explosive...

YES! i am so excited for these two to finally work together in the field like this. i am very 👁️ for when we get an idea of who all will be included in the vaeka rescue squad... when we start hammering out ideas, we can try to have them team up? and if you wanted to do something before whatever big thread might happen, if they know what might be happening in advance, they could try to case the joint?
no subject
Yeah, definitely! I know for sure that Ernesto isn't actually going to want to be part of the final group that pulls off the rescue since that's going to be a group that will very likely have their faces/identities exposed, so he'll be doing a lot of prep work for them to make up for it/to help out in other ways, so things like casing the joint would be perfect

makoto is being VERY vicious to anyone he thinks is tagging along and being wishy-washy about things, since he interprets that as a danger to himself (indirectly). so i am more than willing to offer makoto to not only give him a sharp-edged pep talk but also maybe pressure him into situations in which he is almost forced to contribute........

I'm honestly dying for someone to go "wait I'm sorry you've been able to turn invisible/do magic interrogations/track people's location this whole time and you haven't been using it to help???"
Matt has been fairly close-mouthed about the extent/variety of his powers, which is the slight IC hurdle here. But Makoto's already seen at least some of them, and it's pretty easy for Matt to let something slip under pressure/in the right circumstances, so I'm optimistic.
no subject
but, yeah, i can definitely see makoto chew matt out about this and then basically pressgang him into teaming up with him for a while just so he can force him into doing some of the dirty work........ J taught him so well

yeah, amos could tell immediately that yuuta is a pleroma aion with his true sight, but if he hesitated for a minute... yuuta can be merciless when pushed to an extreme, but he would probably just come at him with speed and force to try to overwhelm him, to take advantage of his uncertainty. then we could pit their super strengths against one another hehehehe...
no subject
Amos would certainly hesitate due to Yuuta's youth, which would be a very valuable lesson for him in the long run so I'm definitely all for that... Amos is normally merciless but would have to be pushed into that with someone as young as Yuuta but once he's there, yeah, we're good. And ohhhhh... a super strengths battle yesssss...
I'm not sure when this might be going down considering /gestures vaguely/ everything, but yeah I definitely want Yuuta in on Amos' fight dance card at some point for sure, likely at some time during the rescue attempt. And then it's just a matter of figuring out how this fight might end if they're both willing to go to extremes but might not be available for dissipations dgjidgk
no subject
though i feel like yuuta would feel bad for forcing amos to this realization, considering he doesn't want to put the other Youths like yuya in danger...... but ya gotta do what ya gotta do
my plans for yuuta are pretty open, so just let me know what works best for you! considering how much of a heavy hitter amos is, perhaps yuuta could try to lock him down for a while as everyone else tries to do the same for the other kenomies and extract vaeka? yuuta is certainly capable of going to extremes, but... i don't think he would want to do so immediately, so he would probably just be trying to incapacitate amos or at least waste his time. if things start to get dire for him, though... who knows what might happen
no subject
Locking him down would be great! Because yeah when shit hits the fan Amos is gonna go for murder, so preventing him from being able to do that would be good. I'm also game to hold off on extremes for the time being, Yuuta might be the only Pleroma in Godsblood where it would take a lot more for Amos to shift into that mindset, so if Yuuta's mostly doing defensive stuff then he wouldn't ping Amos' murder button. Maybe we could throw a bit of straight-up combat in if Amos is eventually able to break free, but by then it could be late enough in the game that he'd shift over into just wanting to capture Yuuta, and if Yuuta's able to just straight up get away then there's nothing Amos can do about that, is there... just a couple of heavy blows before taking off kinda thing
no subject
usually he just kind of brute forces his way through fights by tanking heavy hits, because he can just reinforce his body with cursed energy and use reverse cursed energy to heal... BUT his self-healing is heavily nerfed, so i think amos could definitely put some hurtin' on him. i do think it would be really fun if the thing that ends up letting yuuta get away is that rika finally shows up to stop amos from capturing him... he's going to be forcibly directing her to help the pleromies trying to extract vaeka at the time, so this would either be 1) after that has either succeeded or failed, or 2) yuuta is injured enough that her defensive instincts kick in

my PVP timeline is still a little wishywashy so afaik I'm wide open for whenever this should end up happening!
