Kenoma Team Info
Hello AT,
During the party thread for the Kenoma here, various people who are in charge of training will be asking the Kenoma if they can elaborate on their abilities. This will be used to team them up for training or missions in game and other possible events down the line. OOCly, it will be used to populate this spreadsheet.
In the spirit of not threading that out for each character, we wanted to ask you to comment here and tell us what abilities your character would say they have (if any). Remember! This is what they would admit to ICly, in game only and does not have to reflect an exhaustive list of their skills. You can even have them lie if you want.
Additionally, it would be appreciated if you could let us know if you are interested in participating in any training logs in the future and what kind of content you would like to see! (Weapons training? PVP? Obstacle courses? Come at us with ideas.) We are planning for one eventually, the timing is flexible to compensate for tag load or events.

I want to participate in Training Logs/Activities: Yes, but I'd probably like to balance handwaved threads and writing threads out. i'll get burnt out if i gotta write so many fight threads, i'm gomen, Kaeya would also probs volunteer to help train if they need extra hands! Otherwise, he's happy to defer to whatever grandpa needs him to do.

When should the first Training Log occur? Probably next month so it's a nice offset activity during app/TDM months? π€ Not entirely sure how the cadence of the game works just yet though,,,

Abilities of OTHER characters mine would reveal: Honestly, he would sell out anyone (just ask Howl) so if you want your characters' powers to get out, hit me up!

Training Activities Suggestions: Silco might point out that they may want to try to do some training in crowded city areas to learn to maneuver through them

Do they have combat experience: Yes β Howl has talked about being trained in the wizard equivalence of a military academy, and he's mentioned once or twice that there was a war going on in his world. And of course he's boasted about being able to fight too.
Do they have magical skills: Yes and he never shuts up about it lol
Current abilities: Howl's big bird-monster transformation is public knowledge at this point, along with his ability to sorta "overcook" certain elements of it depending on the situation. He isn't transforming into the exact same form every time, it's more like he can pick and choose which elements to evoke and to what degree, depending on the situation. As for other abilities, the ones he's used in front of people aren't combat abilities.

When should the first Training Log occur? hmm maybe at the end of this month...? To let new people settle and to see what the event for this month is.
Rin Yamaoka "THE SPIRIT" | Dead by Daylight
Do they have magical skills: ...Yes-ish? Ghost...powers?
Current abilities: She would say that she is able to move more quickly than the living and phase in and out of the corporeal world to travel. She would also say that she is able to "haunt" specific areas that she claims as her own, which essentially makes it something of a "home field advantage" in battle. She will also clearly indicate that she is eager to fight and hurt people which may give evidence to the battle frenzy she's prone to. That being hurt only fuels her rage and makes her stronger. (It does in a very literal sense.)
She won't outright say it (but may drop hints as to this mechanic incidentally), it is important to note that one of her abilities makes it so she believes another player is actually her father, whom she wants to kill. Badly. So if there were some way for a specific Pleroma to be "targeted" for that, she would basically be a bloodhound on that person.
Abilities of OTHER characters mine would reveal: She does not know abilities of other characters...yet. But would be potentially willing to share information with people she comes to respect and trust.

Training Activities Suggestions: Team...training? I know Rin hasn't worked with anyone before so she'd be curious to see how that goes. Also she'd be game for any sort of swordsmanship!
When should the first Training Log occur? End of this month or next month since we have an event!
Barnaby Brooks Jr.
Do they have magical skills: NO
Current abilities: Hundred Power: Barnaby's physical abilities are boosted a hundredfold, giving him super strength, speed, jumping ability, agility, healing, sight, hearing, endurance, etc. This has a five minute time limit, then his powers expire and he has to wait some time before he can use them again (he will be vague on how long this is...... mysterious). He's more than capable of holding his own before and after using his power, though, so he'll often bide his time and strategically activate them for the biggest impact.

Training Activities Suggestions: He'd suggest it's important for everyone paired up for training/real combat to learn to work well together as a team, as they'll be more effective than working alone. He's speaking from experience working in a hero duo, but won't offer any specific advice, and will clam up if pressed about it.

Do they have magical skills: Yes
Current abilities: Liem isn't inclined to disclose either of his magical detection abilities, but the following are all fair game:

When should the first Training Log occur? Beginning of next month, after everyone has had time to do event things!

Do they have magical skills: NO(?); She uses magic for personal strengthening, but she isn't a spellcaster.
Current abilities: Extreme spiritual sensitivity, easily possessed by spirits, allegedly knows soul-carrying techniques. Can magically strengthen herself to become extremely fast/strong/durable/etc. for about 30 minutes of exertion per fight. Proficient in a variety of weapons including polearms and the bow and arrow.

Current abilities: Empathy, both projective and receptive. Shapeshifting into the form of a small, long-tailed bird.

Roxana won't be too forthcoming about her butterflies' abilities, especially the hallucinogenic ones. She'll offer them for spying or tracking and for, you know, feeding on people. But she likes the hallucinogenic ones to be kept close to her chest.

Do they have magical skills: YES
Current abilities:
Make big kabooms: She is a proficient user in 'star magic' which despite the fancy sounding name and the claims that it uses the power of 'the universe' basically boils down to energy blasts not unlike something you might find in an action anime. Just ignore the in-game animations that do stuff like destroy the entire world to inflict small amounts of damage. While doing it too much would eventually tire her out, it comes so naturally to her that it would take quite a long battle to 'run her out of sp' and make her unable to cast again.
Curse you!: Literally. She can inflict curses on people, and is able to do so at a distance. There is little indication that she is doing so, generally something innocent like a small hand gesture. They manifest in the form of what could be thought of as an rpg 'status effect' with her having control over what it does. She can slow a person, dull their senses, lower their bodily strength, the variety is quite wide. It can be removed in three ways. As its magic based, dispel magic style abilities remove it. A strong willpower might be able to shake the effect off, and lastly it will end on its own after one hour has passed.
CORPSES! <3: She has made little secret of her necromancy, and is capable of puppeteering the corpses of the dead to act as her personal bodyguards. If they would be included in any training exercises would depend on just how 'serious' the people organizing it might want the battle to be. She is able to control up to 12 of them currently, a far cry from the literal armies she commands in canon, but if she could just slaughter the entire city and raise them all, she'd just be the entire Kenoma army by herself!
Abilities of OTHER characters mine would reveal: While she wouldn't go out of her way to do so, she might do it if she thought it might cause trouble for the person who's ability she revealed. Sorry, its just how she is.
I want to participate in Training Logs/Activities: YES
Training Activities Suggestions: She might be good for training how to deal in being outnumbered. Her zombies don't have minds of their own, but since she literally controls them like puppets they can still use basic tactics. Her offensive magic is pretty strong as well, she might be good for learning how to deal with an enemy that has no intention of coming anywhere near you.
When should the first Training Log occur? Any month is as good as another for me.

Training Activities Suggestions: He won't give any, and you don't want his suggestions, anyway. He comes from fake!Mother Russia, and it's been shown and referenced that they do less than humane things for the sake of making super soldiers as strong as possible.

Abilities of OTHER characters mine would reveal: Amos believes in HONESTY because they're a TEAM and withholding information is UNHELPFUL and probably STUPID so any he's aware of, he'd spill the beans.
I want to participate in Training Logs/Activities: Yes! Barring potential thread overloads.
Training Activities Suggestions: Anything with weapons (guns) (please guns), target practice (g u n s), sparring, general working out/strength building.
When should the first Training Log occur? I'd say sometime in between the upcoming event and the TDM, depending on what the event is? OOC, during some downtime.

Training Activities Suggestions: I mean, again, he's a noncombatant so I don't feel like it's my place to suggest anything, nor would he; at the same time, he's here to assist people if things get a bit...intense regarding injuries
