NAME: Moiraine Damodred CANON:The Wheel of Time (TV) LEGACY: Champion SECT: Pleroma
CHARACTER PITCH: Moiraine is an Aes Sedai, a member of an all-female order of magic users. She has devoted herself to locating the Dragon Reborn -- the reincarnation of a person who is destined to both save and destroy the world -- and protecting and shepherding them so they don't fall to the Dark, with the end goal of saving the world. She is unquestionably devoted to the Light and a genuinely good person underneath everything, but will do whatever is required to see her goals fulfilled. Moiraine comes off at first blush as cold and reserved, has a knack for only showing others what she wants them to see, is absolutely not above manipulating and influencing people to do what she wants, and won't tell anyone who doesn't need to know about what she's thinking or planning -- but this is all in service to something she is convinced is for the greater good.
DESIRED CR: I would love to have her expand her circle a little bit and reach out to more of her fellow Pleroma. I'm also down for like, conflicted Kenoma CR with characters who either regret their choice or just see it as necessary but aren't Super Down with killing people or what have you.
OFFERED CR: Mentor figure for savior/hero/chosen one types. Theoretically, the use of the One Power can be taught at a low level even for people who weren't born with the spark, but at this stage she'd only feel she could teach it to another woman bc of the gender divide in the use of the Power in her own world. She will insist she doesn't know how to teach a man to use the Power.
PLOT HOOKS: At some point I intend to throw Moiraine into a reconnaissance mission in Godsblood; she'd probably welcome one or two other Pleroma to go with her.
EVENT PLANS: I'll probably have more concrete thoughts when the event post goes up, but I'm here for her helping new Pleroma get oriented and all that jazz.
