I loved it too, thank you for threading it with me! Totally happy to keep it as game canon. The whole Kenoma situation is a big trigger for Barnaby since his backstory is one big mess of being drugged and brainwashed into becoming who he is, and he'd only recently broken free from that when this all happened, so being forced into Kenoma was really the only way. It's also why he doesn't trust the Regent at this stage; it'll take a lot of work for him to come around to the idea beyond grudgingly going along with it.

But aside from that horribly negative start he's already realising they have things in common and that Amos isn't necessarily a bad person (though hes not gonna regret punching him lmao...). That will complicate things a lot. I'm looking forward to where our cr goes!
