Hearts Like Yours

PLEROMA

After surviving their trial against the Kenoma, the Pleroma will finally have the chance to spread their wings. Having spent some time recovering in the Valley of the Innocent, there will be few options but to strike outwards, looking for a safe haven that they can be less readily tracked to. Characters who are inclined towards information gathering are welcome to do some handwaving of their characters first venturing beyond the boundaries of the valley, where they will find an assortment of small villages - including the one that left their offering of clothing and food. If they are careful, they will be able to get an idea of where to go next, as the locals seem mostly inclined to help them, but only if they can be given some plausible deniability.

According to the villagers of the region, there are two places that may be of use to one trying to avoid the Regent's forces: the rebellious city-state of Godsblood, or the reclusive village of rebels said to live among the trees of Lohkimareen. Both trips will take at least a week to complete, depending on if the Pleroma can expedite things. While Godsblood is a sure shot by traveling West and catching a boat ride at Syraku Shipyard, it is technically a Regent-controlled city despite its tendency to spit in the face of Achamite's demands. Any Pleroma travelling there will have to disguise themselves. On the other hand, Greentruth is famed to be a haven for rebels that oppose the Regent's reign, but getting there requires traveling through a forest famed for its reptilian megafauna and threatening atmosphere. That is, if rebels still live in the first place. They haven't been seen in quite some time.

Whichever journey they choose, they will have a long trip ahead of them. Part of the event post will cover their travels to their destination of choice, while the rest will be about exploring what each location has to offer. There will be portal between Godsblood and Greentruth unlocked, but it will take a bit of plot to gain full access to.

❖ INCLUDED EVENT PROMPTS

◆ GODSBLOOD: The seaside city known for its rebellious stance against the Regent, it is technically within Achamoth's control. According to the villagers near the valley, though, it may be the Pleroma's best bet to hide out in. When characters arrive, the city will be in the middle of their "Lover's Festival", the spring celebration of Lovaseri, the Lover's Moon. The local's boisterous activities may be the perfect environment to explore the city within, as long as you can keep your nature concealed.

◆ GREENTRUTH: While vaunted as a place truly free from the Regent's influence, it's also uncertain whether it has survived the last few decades. Those that are brave enough to undertake it, however, will be rewarded by their journey into the Lohkimareen forest with an encounter with its resident scouts, and a path straight to the heart of the resistance. Life in the forest is hard, but freedom from the Regent's gaze has its advantages.

KENOMA

For the Kenoma, it's time to meet their boss. Arriving in Achamoth through the great river that flows through it, the new recruits will be brought straight to the Regent's grand citadel to tour their new living space. They will find themselves greeted with lavish personal bedrooms, servants at their beck and call, and religious fervor befitting their status as demigods. While the sailors bringing them there seemed nervous and ideologically neutral, once inside the city proper, they are unambiguously treated with reverence.

After sorting out their basic living requirements, they will all be invited to a luxurious feast put on by the Regent themselves. Make no mistake, attendance is mandatory. This will be their first opportunity to speak with Horos's resident despot and to learn more about their role among the Kenoma. They're well informed on your actions back in the cavern, and they may have some thoughts on them. (PS. Please reply with your character's actions to this toplevel if you haven't already.)

Provided they survive that encounter, they will be allowed to wander Achamoth and spend most of the month getting themselves comfortable. The Regent has the impression that another conflict with the Pleroma is on the horizon, and it would not do for Achamoth's new elite to be unprepared.

◆ THE CITADEL: The Kenoma will be introduced to their new living space, including luxurious private rooms and personal servants. Before long, it will be time to dress up for their first meeting with the Regent, in the form of a formal feast. It would probably be smart to make a good first impression.

◆ ACHAMOTH: For the rest of their month, they'll have free reign over their new stomping ground, given an allowance for new purchases and to partake in the city's illustrious entertainment district. Rest and prepare, is the Regent's first order. Soon, there will be work to do.

Okay so Himeka is 200% going to Greentruth and I am stoked on the journey! She will be curious about the forest in general but also she will have been poking around a bit and finding out that there may or may not be people there that are free from the Regent...

She is inclined to believe there are still people in the forest because there were bodies by the Wanderer Shrine, which is just barely inside the same forest. She may think she's more experienced then in this land (she is not), but it will only encourage her further.

So basically anyone who wants to join her trek into the forest which will include some fun camping, maybe some clever forest gathering and cooking?, and hopefully finding some of that fun fun megafauna. Want to meet dinosaurs and dragons and whatever else lurks there. She is also still available to anyone that needs healing either for those before they leave and who do not want to journey with or during the journey itself.

I will be top-leveling with open prompts!

The Citadel - Meeting the Regent

Wow he's going to bitch at the Regent for "poor" strategical choices, isn't he? (Why did unnourished tired individuals get sent to fight etc etc.) Probably yes. Hopefully, there can be some discussion on strategy and secret deep bitter feelings of his world being 'destroyed', which he will vehemently hide. And he will probably bitch about his powers too. Emet's just going to complain. And then try and assert what power he can from all this. (Can he possibly convince the Regent to give him authority over the city's formidable military? Or a position on it as he schemes to replace the Regent? HM.)  I want him to SCHEME SO HARD /slams fist on table.

The Banquet
He's just gonna fit right in here suspiciously well. Emet will be arriving in the most fabulous clothing (image source) befit of a true dark dignitary. He knows how to handle these hoity-toity events from experience, and will likely be very bored with it all. (At least they finally get some good food.) I can see a few Solus mannerisms seeping through as he becomes very comfortable with bothering the servants for what he wants and bossing other people around. He will point out what fork/spoon/knife the uncultured are supposed to be using and coach others on how to act in such in order to make a good first impression. I wonder if there will be ballroom dancing... maybe someone can bother him with that and truly ruin his day?

Exploring Achamoth
Of course, he will be very interested in exploring their new home and the culture the city has. Maps will be made, the scenery will be observed, and god is he going to feel deja vu. (Garlemald?? Is this u??) There may be some very... seedy tactics at work as he tries to win over the citizens. OH. Right. And after all that, feel free to take grandpa on a shopping trip. HE'LL TRY TO BUY YOU DANGEROUS SHIET if he can.

Please know that if Emet tries to lecture Eustace on proper table etiquette, Eustace will immediately judge the hell out of Emet and possibly drink his soup straight from the bowl out of spite. But on the flipside, he'll also be paying attention to what the rest of his Kenoma buddies will be doing/saying, so if Emet's going to be very vocal about his battle strategy opinions and make subtle bids for power, he'll stand out as someone to keep an eye on.

Maybe they can meet up in the city and do a tour or something? :|a Eustace does not care what other people think of him and will be mostly just getting a lay of the land/culture/political atmosphere because he is the type of guy who needs to learn all information available to him.

WELL, depending on how things go for Amos with the Regent considering his general non-participation in cavern events and then no particular desire to be fashionable...

He's gonna be absolutely vibing, for the most part. Listen, you take a guy who grew up poor and then lived the best years of his life in space (where accommodations are extremely utilitarian out of necessity) and give him all of this? It's pretty ballin'. He's not going full hedonism or anything but he's definitely having a good time, if anyone else wants to just enjoy themselves while settling in(/talking about how meeting the boss went?).

Generally:

- He'll be dressed plainly, but also nice enough. Think good fabric, all black, but no accessories or major stylings. Dude's spent his entire life dressing for the practical, that's not about to change any time soon.
- This much open space? Private rooms? All-natural food? Amos is thriving. This is awesome.
- He's less certain about the whole personal servants and religious stuff though. Like, it's fine, but it's weird?
- Around town he'll be getting himself familiarized with his surroundings, drinking, and there'll probably be at least one brothel visit in there, for general settings/run-ins ideas.
- I'm absolutely dying to see how the Regent responds to him though because Amos is totally on board with them, there are just a couple of hiccups of disconnect to get over first...
- I'm down to handwave any first meetings with other Kenoma if we haven't threaded yet, or have them meet for the first time here if that's preferred! Just trying to keep the thread counts manageable but very excited to build up that in-faction CR this month.

as for the event prompts, what dextera ultimately does (or rather, what order he does them in) will depend mostly on what others seem to be doing. that said!

godsblood

dextera does not have any living memory of being in a city with people. the villagers on the outskirts of the valley of the innocent were as close to civilization as he’s gotten, so he’s going to be comically overwhelmed!! assuming there are festival activities to participate in, he will, for better or worse, be extremely easy to manipulate into doing festival activities. do you need someone to embarrass themselves on your behalf in a town dance? someone to win you prizes at ye olde chuck e cheese? (i don’t think there will be a ye old chuck e cheese.) dextera is your boy. now that he’s had a bath and a change of clothes, he is not as smelly and sad as he was on the way over.

overall, i’m just imagining this as a way for him to get to know people in a less immediately tragic environment. dextera is a very different person around a lot of people than he was in captivity and during fights. hopefully pretty lighthearted threads compared to the beginning!

because dextera is a nasty little feral man, he’ll also be interested in exploring the forest—not necessarily to reach the resistance’s base, if it exists or not, but simply to collect and hoard supplies from nature. he’s willing to help take down any of the big scary animals that might bar their path, and he’s generally just another body in the ranks with a dagger and some assorted powers to make him someone who could theoretically support the charge.

personally, i’m interested in throwing him out to the giant lizards or whatever else exists, and so he’ll do that one way or the other, but if any other characters are planning an organized expedition, allow me to drop him in!

⏵ Citadel / Regent / Banquet

⏵ Hooray it's time for society living! Silco will be decked out in the closest approximation to what he wears in canon -- lots of mauve or black clothing, gold or silver adornment, cravat, etc. Pretty much about as close as he can get to what he wears normally -- which is mock fancy topsider fashion -- although he will make sure it matches with what's appropriate for formal wear, and comfortably within the bounds of "obtainable". Those he's met before will also notice that by the time he'll be around the at the banquet, he will have covered up his very obvious facial scars, and even drawn in an eyebrow. Vain as hell.
⏵ That being said it will be extremely obvious to pretty much anyone that he Does Not Fit In. There will be attempts at proper behavior, and Silco is careful and at this point learned enough about "high society" thanks to trying to manipulate rich folks in his canon -- but there's enough awkwardness and discomfort that it's going to be hard to miss. Even around the citadel, it will be pretty apparent that he doesn't really use or acknowledge the servants, and will do pretty much everything himself.
⏵ Super down for any banquet interactions! Silco will be trying to hob nob and get to know folks, for sure. He will absolutely be hunting folks down -- if there's any indication for who is "the ones to know", he'll probably be looking to introduce himself or chat y'all up! He's a slimy rat man who wants to look important.

⏵ YEAH YEAH YEAH Baby let's talk sin city Silco will be spending an enormous amount of his time around the entertainment district!
⏵ That being said, it will be readily clear that he isn't actually indulging in most of it. Might have like. A drink here or there, but never enough to actually get drunk. Feel free to catch him being a lurker for like...hours with one drink and a smoke.
⏵ He's going to be spending a lot of his time figuring out things such as: what kinds of drugs are available (he's a drug lord he can't help it), what establishments are the most frequented, who comes out there, what kinds of people come out to the clubs, what the locals are like, etc. Unlike the citadel where Silco very obviously didn't fit in -- when it comes to an entertainment district, he is 100% in his element and it will be extremely obvious, if you catch him out in it after the Banquet.
⏵ It will be pretty apparent early on that Silco would much rather spend his time down in the muck in the entertainment district than he would up top in the citadel (ok, obvious mindset there) so anyone who frequents early on is more than welcome to get a bit of an eye of this. Again, it's all observation, and given any familiarity with, say, drugs, he's not even using. Weird.
⏵ Also he may be snooping for hints about a crime scene but that's because he can't help himself. (This may go nowhere but y'know he can't stop himself)

Moiraine is absolutely going to Greentruth, she's very interested in the resistance and what's going on with them and she's going to try to ingratiate herself if possible. TV WoT leans more into the espionage aspect of the Blue Ajah, but at the root they're chronic heroes who look for noble causes to attach themselves to, so this is perfect for her.

Other Pleromas can probably hassle her into going with them to explore the forest, especially if they look like they need someone to keep them out of trouble. Yes she's going to tell you if she thinks you're about to do a stupid thing. She may or may not go out of her way to save you if you do the stupid thing in spite of her warnings :')

She is not a fan of small talk, but anyone who wants to discuss the current situation, how things are going, what they might do next etc. feel free to hit her up! I'll be topleveling this time so I'm 100% down for both new and existing CR.

after much internal debate, mister priest man is heading to Godsblood; whether he stays there - who the heck knows, but that's where he'll be checking out first! though he doesn't want to separate with the others after everything the Pleroma crew has been through (and losing their Kenoma brethren), a "divide and conquer" mindset might be for the best.

if anyone going the way of the forest wants to SAY GOODBYE for now.... stay safe brothers and sisters, talk about their plans to reunite in the future, etc - I'm down 🥺 (how long before they figure out communion...). alongside this, LICKING WOUNDS (nOT LITERALLY i know we joke about dogs in this game, but stop) along the way to Godsblood... if you look banged up from the Suffer Cave and all it entailed on your travels or just down in the dumps, I offer you one (1) idiot to offer you some succor in this trying time. if you're a masochist, you can clean him up too; he got pretty beat up by a teenager, his face is probably one giant bruise and his nose may be broken but he's otherwise fine!!! basically let me h/c with you?? p.s. Abel is also terrible on boats so he will doubtlessly whine about that on the ship ride to lighten the mood from far more serious ailings..... disgusting. please punt him out to sea.

a new and foreign world means it's time to go HUNTING FOR INFORMATION!! he'll be looking to absorb bits about the common populous, Horos as a whole, the Aions, the Regent - basically anything and everything he can get his grubby paws on, but his #1 priority is FINDING THE WAYWARD KENOMA (which means finding a way to Achamoth, eventually) and information about the Regent. to that end, he will be doing a lot of exploring and trying to intermingle with the natives. wow, haha, it's like. sooo convenient that getting involved in FESTIVAL ACTIVITIES might be the best way to learn things? haha... soooo convenient, would be terrible if he had to spend some time enjoying himself here. (sigh.) Abel will definitely DRAG FOLKS INTO GOOFING OFF with him in between snooping and attempting to be productive, so if you want to get involved with either, let me know!!

does anyone else have a really, really bad feeling about what might be in store for their Kenoma buddies after suffering what that poison does to a person? Abel will be looking for anyone who might FEEL SIMILARLY to him and want to FREE THEM from the Kenoma thrall - and the Regent by necessity - WITHOUT HURTING THEM. this is a long-term goal, obviously, but he will be looking for 'partners in crime' to help him reach this objective. if your character might be morally aligned with Abel (or would at least convince him they are), let's talk!

So, assuming Howl does not get taken out of commission or penalized in some significant way for his actions (and inaction) while the Pleromas were escaping, he will be one of those folks going straight from the Regent's dinner to the entertainment district. Brothels and other establishments specifically focused on sex work are not really his thing, but music and drinks and trying to pick up women??? You betcha. (I'm so sorry, ladies)

But even before the Regent's dinner, they've all got an entire evening to themselves in their new living quarters! Deepest apologies to all the servants ahead of time for how incredibly high-maintenance Howl is going to be in this situation. It might be fun to have some characters hanging out together chit-chatting during that initial night - Howl's gonna be in an amazingly good mood and will be open to any invitations to socialize.

Dokja will be headed for Godsblood because he's not all that interested in connecting with the rebels at this time. He's off to do his own thing and his own thing includes

• donning a hood and cloak for disguise as he hops on the boat into the city. he will chat up any fellow pleroma about the battle with the kenoma, mostly being like broh fuck those guys right?? if you made any friends on that side..... sorry.
  
• listening in on conversations that the locals are having, getting a feel for the political atmosphere, seeing what the dissent is like in the city, and maybe striking up a "casual" conversation with some chatters to learn more.
  
• CRIME! you think because he's team pleroma that he's above crime? absolutely not. dokja will quickly learn about the continent's currency and bartering system and decide the best way to get started is by scamming and cheating and stealing. join him? stop him? rat him out? the possibilities are endless.
  
• joining in on the festival! in truth, dokja is a big ol' introvert who would rather stay indoors or hug the wall at any party, but he'll step out to observe and....... in true annoying dokja fashion if he sees anyone else hesitating to step in and have fun, he'll put on his dumbass hat and drag them into festivities. inversely, be the one to drag him into fun.

Wanting to get more of a sense what is happening here rather than take a leap and sign up with a group he knows nothing about, Ernesto will be heading for Godsblood. He's a city boy at heart, and the promise of people who won't have an active interest in turning him in is good enough for him. So he'll be putting on a fun cloak with a hood to cover up the very obvious ears and tail tell of not being a local, and hopping on that ship.

He'll be checking in with any Pleroma that also heads into the city. Whether they stick together the whole time or not, Ernesto will go out of his way to find people again and touch base.

He might (read: definitely) be joining in on some grifts with Dokja, and this may (read: hopefully) result in consequences at some point.

When he's not being a shitty scammer though, he will be trying to build up some good will with the locals, and will rope others into ingratiating themselves with them if he can.

Speaking of, he'll absolutely be attending that festival. Mostly out of curiosity and a good chance at finding out more about this world and the people that inhabit it, but also because festivals are fun. He just spent a long time in a misery cave, got smacked in the face/head half a dozen times, and got stabbed in the shoulder. He deserves a little fun!

the citadel

✧ private rooms?? did someone say next door neighbors/floormates... misa will go around trying to get a feel for everyone in the vicinity of her room, because like, how else is she gonna keep up with living space gossip??

achamoth

✧ her first item on the list is to go shopping for clothes! as the regent's preferred colors are dark and their preferred aesthetic is gothic, she will totally be in her element. she would give helpful fashion advice to anyone, and can also strong arm less enthusiastic characters into buying new threads. and/or judge people's fashion choices

✧ second, she'll be looking for gifts to buy for her boyfriend in the shopping area of the entertainment district..... yeah. if your character has someone they're missing from home and want to chat with her about this, it might be a good avenue to open up about the people they care about most 🥺 she will also completely oversell her relationship with her boyfriend (we're totally in love, yes we only met earlier this year, it was love at first sight, he's obsessed with me, source: just trust me dude) which may make her seem like she's making things up. and she is incredibly nosy so if your character gives her an inch about someone they care about from home, she'll take a mile and will ask all sorts of prodding questions about them/suggest present ideas for them, she's helping!!

sorry about the slowness in tags, my class started this week and it's been a disaster from day 1 to present. but i'll get to everything by the end of the week, at least!!

also, lumine will be going to godsblood, mostly because she doesn't really give a rat's ass about the political machinations in horos. or more like, she's going to be very indifferent and detached about it as she always has been when being roped into crazy events, incidents and organisations... sorry, hardworking people of the resistance, she knows you mean well and she'll help out when she can, but she wants to explore and study this world for now.

✣ she'll be jumping onto the boat and observing the people around her while sorting out the rations and items she was able to gather from the valley. feel free to notice or talk to her.
✣ depending on what the mods say, she'll probably try to find more information about the world and the regent. that means talking to people, asking around, being stealthy and just sitting in a tavern and listening in ...

Okay, so religious fervor of some kind or another is something Paul is used to, weirdly? But only from like 70 people at most at a time... The entire city being Like This is new and he isn't going to know entirely what to make of it, but he's here to try to make. something. of it.

He's generally going to be awkward as hell with regards to the citadel; the man took a vow of poverty and lives in a dying fishing community consisting of like, a church, a bodega, and a mess of houses falling in on themselves, I don't know what to tell you. He's not really used to upscale things, much less anything this lavish, and honestly he'll likely be spending most of his time outside of his room where possible, and he's much more likely to try to engage in conversation with the servants than actually utilize their services.

Otherwise, after this entire feast with the Regent is done (he'll attend but he's, uh, not going to eat anything there; hopefully that doesn't offend our host) he's going to be looking more into the religious side of things, both in terms of texts and just...speaking to the people involved there. He's very interested in their rituals and also just...how they spend their time? He's someone that likes to minister to the people and he definitely wants to get to know them as a whole, as much as possible, before he begins actually attempting anything with or toward them.

He'll generally be around town in Achamoth as well, generally after hours/once night sets in, though the accepted fashion here makes his life decidedly easier; he isn't...terribly interested in the entertainment district, but you are welcome to drag him there anyway? I don't even know.

god. so sayaka is if nothing else good at interview/party sort of things, but she hasn't had free time to herself in so damn long?? the hell does she do with this. at any rate, though...

- so sayaka was probably categorically useless in the pleroma escape (at best she got knocked out before she could do anything, at worst she probably just had a nervous breakdown because. holy shit? holy shit), so while she's definitely going to be nervous at the party, she's going to do her best to put on a smile, be polite and courteous, and all around just try to partake in the party and make a good impression. basically: girl is gonna do her best to be social even if she feels completely out of place

- god. shopping is going to be the bane of sayaka's existence? she is so used to dressing up pink and frilly and cute. she's going to want to try and blend in and not stick out like a sore thumb, but she is absolutely gonna have some troubles with this.
- she will also likely be shopping for people who helped her or talked to her in the cave...probably just small presents or something as thanks. so feel free to hit her up there too or she can try to deliver something to anyone who did!!
- otherwise sayaka is mostly going to be checking out the library? and. maybe some of the music scene too, but she may also be seeking out someone to help uh. make her into less of a twig? ...girl wants to learn to defend herself even a tiny bit, god help her she is useless. does not know the extent of the uselessness yet due to canonpoint but still. god.

→ Ciel doesn't really care about all the luxurious stuff and the servants, but may try to talk to them for information

→ She has no interest in any of the indulgences, what's having a good time? Something that only applies to everyone else, duh. I'd be open and happy to have her get dragged around, she's very much the type to only focus on work.
→ She'll only poke around in a "know your homebase" capacity and will therefore be going around anonymously with no intention of flaunting her Aion status, gotta over-prepare just in case!
→ "Crime in Achamoth is defined almost entirely by things that have anti-Regent sentiments" is neat and she may look into it, as a lawful type who nevertheless goes hard on the gray morality scale.
→ Finding a restaurant that sells spicy food maybe... She's a fattydingdong who eats a lot, high metabolism t-that's all it is.
→ Won't spend much of their allowance, she's saving up just in case.

Binghe is going to be tense leading up to the banquet because he is feeling pretty self conscious about how thoroughly he got his ass kicked just now; he doesn't know what to expect from the Regent but he's expecting to be judged harshly for his failure. He'll dress pretty smartly within the parameters of "melodramatic xianxia goth" but he'll mostly just be brooding and snappish until he receives Judgement. Probably not good company :/

ACHAMOTH:

Since I assume the Regent does not in fact intend to dispose of every Aion who didn't make a stupendous showing in their first fight scene, Binghe will most likely lighten up after the banquet, enough to at least be invested in coming across well. He'll be making some effort to be social because he feels it's important to have allegiances, but that might be tricky when he's spent the last little while being so surly. We'll see! He'll also definitely be looking into the Citadel's bloodsports scene to see if he can test his strength against a wider variety of opponents, because he's still feeling pretty insecure about his Power Levels. He'll otherwise be taking that "rest and prepare" fairly seriously, both the preparing part, in whatever ways the Regent puts at the Aions' disposal, and the resting part... kind of.

NAPTIME:

Now that everyone's got some time to relax and their own lavish quarters to get some good, restful sleep in, Binghe is going to be making use of his dream powers to try to get a better read on a wider number of his fellow Aions. These are opt-in only and I won't assume he knows anything about your character's dreams or sleeping habits unless you specifically tell me he should, but if you would like Luo Binghe to see what your character is dreaming about, he can. At this stage he will only be trying to visit dreams, not making any attempts to manipulate them, but the dreamer might notice him there -- I'm up for threading dream interactions, or you can just tell me what kind of thing he'd see if that's something you'd like him to know about your character! I am equally compelled by incomprehensible frivolous nonsense dreams and serious/revealing/involved stuff.

✨ first and foremost, lottie will be going shopping and will be intimidated by going shopping. this can range from a majority of things like: searching for clothing (going from preppy to goth?? HELP!), fabric for her to sew with, looking for pens and notebooks for her to jot notes and design ideas on, but also.. staring at the window of weapons shops, generally sweating profusely. if your character wants to tag along because they have similar interests, or just want to catch her being weird in public.. this can be arranged c:

✨ which brings me to: lottie wants to learn how to defend herself.. or kill things. someone normal bloggers can do. so there will be a portion of time where she'll be "sneaking out" to go "buy" (read: look) at daggers or something to purchase in even worse very suspicious disguises.. which barely hide her hair at all and only her face. feel free to catch her trying to fight her urge to heave at defending herself being in this shop!!

✨ probably just as important as the rest, she'll be mapping out the city to the best of her ability but mainly so she can figure out where the doctors are. lottie has a bad case of everything and needs to find someone who can discreetly help her kick ass and not get seasonal allergies!! also, help her see with new glasses. if you have a character who can help with this, or wants to catch her for potential blackmail possibilities (as lottie sincerely does not want anyone knowing about this) lets do smth fellas 😘

All right. She's apparently some sort of demi-god now. She's used to being feared, but awe and respect is an entirely new experience to her, and she'll likely be letting it go to her head just a wee bit. She was already far from a thoughtful person, but she'll be an absolute tyrant to her servants, though she won't go so far as to actually hurt them. Much.

Around the citadal

She is going to be living the high life as much as possible. The thought that there is going to be some sort of price to pay for all the opulent gifts she's been given doesn't seem to cross her mind. She'll come across as a little bit restless, as this is the first real period of peace she's had in a very long time, so she doesn't really know HOW to live a peaceful life. She'll have at least a minor interest in any library she can find, looking primarily for books about magic primarily.

At the banquet

She is going to be attending in a full on gothic lolita style dress (one sort of like this: https://i.imgur.com/LoRRDMH.jpg) with her hair tied in black ribbons instead of those adorable little skulls you can see in all of her icons, black stockings covering her legs should you even be able to see them underneath all of those frills, and overall looking a lot more adorable then she has any right to. Here the fact that she doesn't really get polite society will be even more apparent. Be shocked and appalled at her poor handling of dinnerware. There's no way to use the wrong fork if you don't even bother using forks to begin with! She will be receptive to conversation, the presence of the Regent keeping her normally fiery personality under control, and might even attempt to be polite. It would not take Sherlock Holmes to figure out its all an act, though. Demons are not expected to be polite, after all.

Around the city

When given free reign to explore, she is going to do just that. Totally unafraid to go anywhere in town, she could be found just about anywhere. But I have two major plans for possible places to encounter her. First, she is going to familiarize herself with what the people of this city do with their dead. She's a necromancer, she needs to know how difficult it will be to get 'recruits', how far she's going to have to travel, what the locals would think about it, and so on and so forth. She is not concerned about offending them, she merely wishes to keep her own hide safe. She could easily be encountered looking for this information, or perhaps skulking about any graveyard she might run across. Maybe you might even catch her creatiing a 'minion' or two.

Second, she is going to be attempting to bring in some more money. By this time she will have tasted finery, and not want to do without. So she's going to be seeking out some of the 'bloodsport'. Of course she isn't going to be playing fair. She will be using her ability to curse others to manipulate the odds in her favor, making sure anyone she bets on comes out ahead. The fact that her bets seem to be 100% accurate would surely raises suspicion. A particularly astute observer might notice a subtle hand motion from her moments before each match ends. If she is feeling particularly saucy, she might even take place personally.

A MILLION YEARS LATE

Kim, deep down, would love to go on the trek to Greentruth so he can establish a connection with the rebels. However, he knows his skills are limited to urban survival, and he wouldn't want to hold that group back.

So, before the Pleroma split up, he will offer himself as a man on the ground in the city for them. Any other Pleroma heading to Godsblood are welcome to join up with him in this, so long as they can keep a secret.

He will be taking up work as a mechanic/handyman sort, repairing ship engines, heating systems, etc. He has enough experience tuning cars that he can probably bullshit his way into this position.

I'm going to try and make a top level in a bit, but I've had a nasty cold the past few days so I'm trying my best sob

Eleven | Pleroma

Eleven will unerringly be going to Greentruth bc ofc. He'll urge any characters splitting off to Godsblood to stay safe with an anxious earnesty.

Beyond the discomfort stemming from their initial reception in the forest, Eleven is going to love Greentruth. He'll greatly enjoy exploring the settlement, and appreciate the time to hopefully get to know some of his fellow companions under more relaxed circumstances.

He'll quickly find a place in helping some metallurgy smiths with tool/weapon repairs, forging, and securing raw materials. If anyone comes back from a hunt/expedition injured, he can offer healing.

During the festival, he'll def be tripping out on some sacred mesi and hang about as a spiritual concept and vibe with some trees, as u do. He's probably going to feel the effects the following day and that won't stop him.

Because he has a new minor ability to commune with plants and this will be newly known to him after the drink so once he's in decent shape again, he's going to go full tree-hugger and vibe with more trees, then some younger plants, and likely almost get eaten by the ones only pretending to be nice. He'll probably need some help with that .-.

As ever, I'm late to plotting, but this time I brought a top level! Here's what you can find in there:

Matt at the feast, being a wallflower and embarrassing himself in front of Regent-sama.

Out on the town in the entertainment district.

In the library! Getting a religious self-education.

Coming in late from getting choked at a brothel, for reasons nobody needs to examine.

In general, Matt will be interested in exploring Achamoth, getting the lay of the land, and learning about the local politics/religion. I'm back from vacation and I'd love basically all the CR with all the people, so let me know if you want a thread but don't see a workable scenario for your character in here and we can come up with something.

Per This comment, Emet is in Grandpa jail from the Regent. :(

Here is a comment if you want to plot out things that can take place after!

Some key points:
• First 72 hours, he will not come out of his room per the instructions! After that, people are welcome over to his room but he will be very low-key about it. If they do he will look pretty tired. Moreso than usual.

• The mark he received from the Regent will be hidden and probably seldom talked about, if at all. After finding that he is being treated this way by NPCs he will not bother dealing with them. He will try and research the mark to find what it's about, which can lead to further discussion, so the library may be of interest.

• Uh...what else. Oh. And he would like to sit down and try and organize any Kenoma willing to take direction so that they can be better prepared the next time they're in a fight. Iunno where that would fit into things.


Yeah let me know if you have any other ideas.

Eustace is, unfortunately, kind of a jerk, so he will not be participating in Sleepover At Grandpa's (once he's ungrounded) or even searching him out, but he will ask what heppened if he comes across Emet at some point. TBD if Emet wants to respond or not, but if he finds out Emet was basically grounded for three days he's gonna kind of be :/ :/ :/ at the Regent.

But regardless he's in the library a lot so he might run into Emet there, and he'd offer to help with research if things get to that point. Additionally, he would deffo agree with Emet about their folks being woefully underprepared and offer to help with that too.
