Jill! S-someday ... I will watch Arcane ... I say, glancing nervously at my absolute behemoth of a to-watch list ... but I do really want to check it out sometime just because I absolutely adore your Silco!

Even knowing nothing about canon, you communicate his vibe so well that he's an incredibly intriguing and (dare I say) charming character! I absolutely love that you never shy away from what a slimy rat bastard he is, but you still manage to convey an oily sort of allure to him -- it's so easy to imagine characters ending up getting in deep with him just because you play him with such a convincing level of persuasive charm. The balance you manage between him being an unrepentant Bad Man while still believing himself to be righteous in certain regards adds a wonderful depth to him, and I love seeing how his CR develops as characters uncover more facets of his personality! I think there's always a certain challenge to playing such unapologetically awful people, but you pull it off with incredible grace and I'm really excited to see where our CR can go henceforth!

I haven't really had the chance to play with Akua yet, but I have to admit that I respect people who can juggle two characters in this game so much. The fact that you manage to put so much thought and care into these two very different characters with very opposite stances is so good, and I'm hype to see where both of them end up in the long run! Plotting with you is also always a delight, and I super appreciate how accommodating and open you are, so thank you for playing with me thus far and I hope I can continue to pester you going forth!

Don't worry about being slow! August has been a busy month, after all. I'm just glad that you were all for the thread! I knew I wanted some kind of CR with Amos right away since, well, I love the Expanse? And Amos is so great? I had the idea for it in my head pretty much right away when Bruno was accepted but wasn't sure who to hit up about it and then it was like, duh, obviously Amos. And I'm glad that I did. It's been such a good thread. Thank you for that.

I absolutely want to be able to thread more in the future, whatever that may hold!

Thank you! I'm glad you've enjoyed him so far. Misa is also a sweetheart (when not out to kill or petrify people haha... ha... oh boy) so far. He appreciates her not freaking out over the rats thing. He's sorry for how he lives (lived?), Misa. OTL Definitely looking forward to more Misa threads! Hopefully with less rat mentions but hey he really did love those little guys.

And him being in the Kenoma was definitely a Choice but knowing how destroyed he'd be without his family, asking him to accept hope wasn't going to be happening for him anytime soon. I'm pretty excited to see where he ends up!

You and Silco have given me a very precious gift, and it's loathing. It is SO HARD to get Matt to feel negatively or aggressively towards anyone, so I'm thrilled that they've gotten to this point. You were so welcoming to me from Day 1 and willing to just plot wild things ("Miss Xishen? Matt bubbled me!"), and that's continued with Operation: Make Him Worse. I really appreciate it, and I cherish your rat man in ways Matt will not. Can't wait to find out what's next!!!!

Of course!! Amos really is perfect for that kind of thread, when you said you loved The Expanse and proposed it to me I was like "oh wow this is practically tailor-made for him, I gotta"... I've loved writing it (and continuing to since it's not done yet!). As someone canonblind, it's been such a great introduction to who Bruno is too; I'm invested now and that's all thanks to you haha

But yes, for sure!! I'm keeping September chill to complete backtags + clear my schedule for October because October sounds REAL interesting so we'll have to see if any opportunities arise there at minimum!!

You're also very friendly and easy to talk to/shitpost/plot with oocly, so thank you for being so approachable!

rizuuuuuu I've made no secret of how much i love hamyams, I am an apologist and she has done NOTHING wrong, people just hate to see a girlboss winning. She's a really unique presence amongst the Pleroma but that really means she shines best doing her Firebrand thing and blazing her own trail, kicking ass, taking heads, etc.

I'm super invested in her character development and i'm still so sad her and Barnaby's CR is only going to Get Worse (for now?), but at least now I also have Claude who can try to reach out to her a bit and help her! Maybe even bridge the divide between her and the rest of the sect!! I am v excited to help make her easier to play and push along her character development however I can. I HOPE SHE GETS TO BE HAPPIER SOON clutches chest... she deserves some good things sometimes

also just on an ooc level! You're always fun to talk/plot with and it's good to have a timezone(ish) buddy. I love seeing all of your photos of Japan, too!

I just wanted to say I'm really loving Bruno so far! I've enjoyed his surprisingly sweet event interaction with Barnaby, and in general just seeing him around and getting involved in things already. Excited to see where his development takes him! (bad Kenoma places... probably...)

I'm SO happy we're keeping Matt and Caitlyn's CR going! And encountering these interesting moments along the way, like the Silco's daughter reveal??? I hope that they can continue to bond over loathing the rat man, and perhaps other things as the opportunity presents itself.

Ari I've felt so fortunate and blessed in the truest sense of the word to have met you in this game and gotten to experience Amos's headspace. He's such a wonderful and complicated character, and I'm glad this game got to showcase his nuances. When I read the excerpts you shared of him, I was blown away by how perfectly you captured the cadence of the novel's writing and the slightly off tone of his dialogue. You're an amazingly thoughtful writer and I love Amos to death. I WILL read the Expanse like he's the main character, snapping my fingers impatiently whenever he isn't on a page.

OOCly you're also a delight!! I love that you feel so genuinely yourself, and you're genuinely a fun-loving and accommodating person who is soft and humble yet also powerful. This might sound hokey, but it's been a real honor to be able to play with you in this game. You elevated my AT experience just by being around. Know that I adore you.

Candace you play Bunny so wonderfully (even if I am canonblind)... I had no interest in T&B before but he feels so warm and solid that I have no choice but to love him, HE'S HOLDING MY HEART HOSTAGE!! Even though he was a bad fit for the Kenoma from the get-go, I really appreciated having him there as someone unapologetically good, especially as a pillar for other Kenoma to measure their morals against. I admired a lot that you were willing to corrupt him and put him through the wringer, it speaks a lot for your flexibility and dedication to exploring his character! His CR with Gray was both very cute and bittersweet toward the end, but it was lovely overall for them to have just like. a nice and wholesome friendship in the middle of everything.........

We were already plurk friends before AT, but I'm glad I've had the extra time to know you via game disco and bear witness to your :ok_hand: puns and humor in real time. But boy I love Johnny and I'm happy to have gotten to peek into his character... If I find the strength to get through Jojo s3 it will be because Johnny is dangling on the end of a very long stick... I would say you've played a much wilder spread of characters than I have and I'm blown away every time by how beautifully you step into these characters' heads and make them engaging and interesting, and a blast to RP with. You're one of my favorite people and RPers, never 4get that............... I've said this multiple times in this meme and will probably continue to do so but I MEAN IT you're one of my favorite people and I love Eustace... Literally tearing up again thinking about him getting permakilled SL:DDS IT'S YOUR FAULT you write him as so quietly warm and kind even though he's calculated and sometimes a butthead, it's impossible not to love this furry man... I'M GONNA SAY IT, you write him better than in canon (as portrayed by his 300-slide powerpoint), even after years of threading with him I'm intrigued and delighted by every Eustace tag I get. How is that even possible, you're a witch?

I'm so pleased that Gray and Eustace managed to get along and connect with each other despite both being quiet types! It can be hard to make that happen but you excel at making threads easy and fun to respond to no matter the situation. It's probably a given because lol playing Eustace otherwise, but it's always so comfortable and exciting getting into a new thread with you even after all this time and idk I think that kind of says everything. I of course love Eustace but if/when I get the chance to tag your other characters I know it'll be an equally stellar experience.

Of course OOCly I love you and you've never bothered me even once, excuse me?? You're the kind of friend everyone wishes they could have more of, chill but also warm and funny and willing to throw hands at a K-Mart parking lot for your tomos... Gen and Gray were a #1 unexpected CR for me, I had no clue they had so many similarities when we first threaded and I've been delighted to learn more about Gen and his (banned) fuckboi ways since. In a very rare way, they were perfectly tailored to have quality interactions and encourage each other to grow and reflect and act as foils together. I feel like we were only able to touch on a fraction of their potential here and I'm torn up about that, but I enjoyed every single thread we had, sincerely... AND EVEN if that were not the case, I would still enjoy Gen immensely, I love a character who's just lashing out constantly and I love that you put so much heart and pain into his thought process. Gen will always be one of the standouts in this game for me and I hope we will get to thread in some capacity after this!!

I can't believe I didn't pay attention to Misa when I read (half of) Death Note... I made a grievous mistake... because I love Misa so much?? You do a really great job of managing to make her both larger-than-life and chill actually so that she comes out as effortlessly charismatic AND THAT'S REALLY AMAZING!! You capture this je ne sais quoi that makes it really believable that she was an idol in canon, and she is rightfully beloved by the Kenoma (and some Pleroma), I will die for her thank u.

I really enjoyed that she and Gray were able to get along and (on Gray's part) get comfortable just kind of chatting... I would have loved to see Misa pulling Gray more out of her shell and them doing cute fun girltime things, but WOMP WOMP maybe someday in the future... Even if their time was limited I loved seeing Misa just around and being her offbeat charming self, and I also loved that you never shied away from Misa being damaged and morally gray as appropriate for... yanno a mass murderer... She was a star fresh air Kenoma and I adore her!!

I've been most active on LJDWRP around 2010~2014 when it was more 'common' to find DN RPers, but I don't think I've ever came across a Misa personally, so you're my first, Jams! I unfortunately also have to +1 myself in the "saw/read DN a million years ago and didn't think much of Misa" crowd, I'm sorry... But you make her fit with the premise so well, so much that I'm honestly tempted to re-read it just because of/for your Misa! She's truly the soul of Kenoma, the dokidoki queen of all our hearts. I've really enjoyed the progression of our CR from "that chick is taking all this (getting throat ripped out or Adapting In General) Way Too Well" to being ride-or-die gal pals! They're so supportive of each other in the best AND most questionable ways, it's totally a healthy relationship when both sides motivate the other to Do Better right. I long for a day when Misa can finally drop the deets on Light and not just for Ciel but. lbr. Everyone else friend or foe ALL wrinkle their nose and tell her she deserves so much better?! Also shhh no need to dig Misa, just hanging out together and getting dragged into Normal Girl Things is plenty enough! Lowkey worming is still worming, okok...
