The boss will only be attacking Kenoma/Pleroma that attack it first! It won't just be lashing out wildly. Estinien will be retaining a measure of control for the battle's duration and will be able to recognize his targets.

Pleroma can be involved in the boss fight in that they can they to get in the way of attackers, though.
