[Spirited away from home in this undignified state to end up goddess knows where? Exhausted enough that even the most basic of magic seems to be eluding her? Finding herself right in the middle of a brawl between strangers that she could hardly decide which of whom to trust? Dorothea is decidedly not happy with this whole mess, and she’s got half a mind to simply take her chances and try to make a run for it while the two of them are distracted with each other.
Well, at least until it’s clear that she hasn’t escaped their attention when she suddenly feels the incredibly odd sensation of her hand turning to stone.
It catches her off guard, as focused as she is on her disconcerting lack of self-defense, and she can’t help the surprised (and entirely undignified) yelp it pulls from her in response. She makes a very short and futile attempt to pry her fingers apart before the sudden fear that she might do herself harm in the process puts that to a stop quickly.
Panic and frustration spur her into scrambling for the nearest bit of crystal she can grab with her good hand.]
Don’t drag me into your little feud!
[And she proceeds to hurl it in the direction of the tussling strangers.
At who, exactly? Who knows!
…Perhaps that hadn’t been the wisest course of action.]
