No. The universe does not just casually collapse without warning.

[There were rules to the universe, to physics. An interstellar catastrophe of the magnitude level needed to destroy a galaxy would have been spotted...probably eons ago...by Galactic observers. Something even larger? No, that did not make sense.]

To say nothing of the fact that we are here, now, quite obviously alive. Something, or someone, seeks to rattle us.
