They are all indecent at the moment, so it's pointless of Holmes to apologize. Byleth has barely batted an eye at it and is mostly worried that they were both left unarmed and defenseless.

Normally, there would probably be a clasping of forearms or something of that sort. He'd gotten used to some of the Fódlan customs by now, but for very obvious reasons, he's not going to seek one out. Instead, he gives Holmes a single nod in acknowledgement.
"Byleth. We're likely both prisoners at the moment, so hold onto the rock."
He can only assume he got knocked out in battle and dragged over here rather than executed. He's not sure if this was the more merciful option, but maybe the strange power the goddess left him with kept him from dying once more.
