Kotetsu blinks, eyes widening as if he's finally come to the realization concerning the truth of Claude's words. At no point did he think this could actually be real.
Okay, so that's a complete lie. But ignoring reality and common sense facts is what he does best, so he might as well just go one pretending he never suspected a thing in the first place. For what it's worth Kotetsu doesn't freak out, at least not outwardly.
When he speaks he is surprisingly even-keeled and serious, deciding to first reaffirm something with the other. "So this both all is entirely real and we're not dead?"
As far as whoever brought him here.... Kotetsu folds his arms, looking slightly defensive before answering (almost equally defensive,) "Definitely didn't listen to a word I said and just bailed when we got here. Seemed really busy and somewhat stressed, though, so I don't blame them or anything. They said someone else would be around eventually to explain to me fully, but I haven't seen anyone."
"Seriously...?" He now mutters to himself in exasperation as he glances around once more with a new view on the place and being dealt this kind of hand.
His voice rises, clearly struggling to suspend his disbelief over all this, and further attempting to distract himself from the deep darker concerns that are floating in his mind. "This is some kind of mistake. There are way more qualified heroes to help save the world from evil or whatever I was told we're doing here where I'm from. My partner, for example, and all our friends. I barely have superpowers anymore, and without a tv show needing ratings, a 'lame hero' is just a total liability. So what the heck was whoever brought us here even thinking...? Even Lunatic would be a better choice for this sort of thing."
