"Chief of the Bureau of the Architect! My people were skilled in creation magicks, and so we created flora and fauna to populate our star with. But there must needs be rules in place to ensure that our creations did not destroy each other, or were detrimental to the star in any way. To that end we have the Bureau of the Architect, where we evaluate these concepts before they can be released to the star fully. As chief, my word was quite final."

He smiles as if it's completely normal for man to populate their world in such a way. And it was, for him. He had loved his job, too- as much is apparent in the wistful way he talks about it.
