He's silent for a few moments, eyes lowering to the ground as he considers it. All the souls within... it bothers him to think that all of those people would be lost forever. Himself included- he wants to exist, after all.

"Then we would be no more." He looks back up at Emet-Selch, meeting his gaze. "I cannot very well be by your side if we do not exist."

Concerned, he rests his head on Emet-Selch's shoulder. "I could not bear for us to be parted again. Not when we only so recently reunited."
