[It’s disheartening to think about—the implications of a lost home, a life stolen away to some unknown place for some unknown reason. And her cold and exhausted state only seems to compound it.

He is correct, however, in that remaining here will not enlighten them to any of it. Dorothea is grateful for the opportunity to have her focus stolen away from thoughts of home for the moment—though it does come with a reminder of their state of undress. She can feel her cheeks flush once again, though she does her best to ignore it.]


I… believe you may be right. Continuing to dawdle here will do neither of us any good.

[More than anything, she wants to get out of here. So whether their searching leads them to answers or a way to leave, there could be no downside. Well, aside from how undignified as it would be, going for a naked stroll with a stranger. She is simply forced to take him at his word that he will behave as a gentleman.]

Shall we take a look around, then? [She begins to take a tentative step out past the large, jutting crystal she had been attempting to use as cover—hands and arms still attempting to cover what she could—but then pauses to add:] And please, call me Dorothea.
