Months ago, that dream had been the precursor to his own arrival. And after running into a few new faces there, he suspects it's a clear sign that a fresh batch of Aions are sure to cross over soon.
There are plenty of other legacy shrines to choose from, across the land. Some more practical in their location to where he resides in the Citadel. But for a demon, he's always been a surprisingly sentimental creature.
Sure enough, J's not alone when he teleports into the chilly interior of his home shrine. Padding forward towards the racket reveals a girl rummaging around inside a cracked open chrysalis shell. Well, that's not the reaction he'd had upon being thrust into this world, but it is a less troublesome response to deal with than someone paranoid and looking to lash out. ]
