undertheweight: (uncertain)

Wrathion wants to argue. Trust does not come easy to him for so many reasons--being experimented on within the egg because of the Red Dragonflight's fear, his own father's madness. More than that. Anduin has had his own share of adventure--while Wrathion does not doubt that the young man recalls what happened to him in Pandaria, the dragon doesn't want to throw that in the human's face, either. It seems unwise.

"I know you need that," he rumbles, finally. "I know you deserve it. My trust. But that...is hard for me. And..."

There's a bit of teeth-gnashing. Anduin isn't wrong about Wrathion and his pride. But as the priest said, if they're going to work together here...he can't hide things.

"I'm afraid. I know you need to be yourself, and to shelter you would do you no favors. But I'm afraid of you getting hurt."

Or worse, but Wrathion doesn't even want to speak those words.
