I was doing what I thought was right for Azeroth.

Anduin huffs again and drops his eyes away, but Wrathion continues and he listens. The dragon is trying, he is, and Anduin is sympathetic to that --

But his eyes snap up again.

You know how heavy the burden your father leaves you can be.

Really? Incredulousness flits over Anduin's expression for a moment, then his eyes narrow.

"I do," Anduin says, voice deceptively soft. "You'd know how much, if you'd been here. That's the difference between us, Wrathion. I wanted to help you. I begged you to let me, to listen to me, to tell me what you were doing. I would have done anything to make things right, and you left me. You left me as chaos broke out in the temple, you ran for years as our forces clashed with the Iron Horde. You didn't even return when the Legion came. I thought you might, I thought maybe you were waiting for that -- but no. You kept running. Is that the burden your father left you, Wrathion? Running from your mistakes? Abandoning the people who wanted to help you?"
