Amos wants to end this before he knows they're out of time, so he uses his thumb to pop the vial's cork off. It goes flying, coming to a rest elsewhere inside the cavern, forgotten and irrelevant. He takes a second to regard Atsumu before letting go of his arm — and instantly going for his mouth instead, forcing it open.
And then he's standing over Atsumu, dumping the Kenoma into him. He drops the vial once it's empty, one hand moving to cradle the back of Atsumu's head, the other to his throat in case Amos needs to help coax it down. His touch is gentle now — he remembers what the Achamites had done for him when he'd first taken the Kenoma, like a parent helping a child; he wants to be that for Atsumu.
They still need to get out of here, but the deed is done; he's bought them a bit of time. He can take a moment before fishing out the returning stones, before bringing Atsumu home. ]
