Crane is hauled upwards with a small grunt, a lolling of his head. Even for someone with Vader's strength, he is...very light. There's practically no meat on Crane; usually his costume and assorted gear hide it.
He takes hold of the wood, and nods. "For now, I suppose, though I wouldn't mind doing something about a pair of trousers at least should the opportunity present itself." Not that he appears particularly bothered by his state of nudity. For now, the slab of wood works as an impromptu crutch (he had to make do with far less after managing to swim to shore that night at the Asylum, and in worse conditions), and Crane nods at Vader, ready to go.
"I had to make do with the services of a back-alley surgeon and my own not insignificant medical skills." He remarks in the same quiet, almost paternalistic tone as he proceeds, somewhat awkwardly, with Vader. "A pity no one was on hand to offer me the treatment you received."
Vader...might not be a robot? But he's certainly had cybernetics installed. A lot of them, if that armour is any indication. Maybe Crane's wrong, but it doesn't seem like the sort of conversion one undergoes outside of very extreme circumstances.
