[ This isn't the first time Lottie has woken up like this - the first it was harrowing. The second, she's afforded more control over her body. And the third? She squeezes her palms every so often, feels her nails dig into skin as she wanders across the plane. Looks up at the sky and feels something like fear crawl down her back, and awe dancing on her face. She doesn't do much talking, when she wakes like this. Just scopes everyone out and wonders if she'll ever run into them, or if she's just going crazy like she always is.
But even if this person is a fleeting passerby in her life, or some hallucination (she hasn't decided yet), she's prompted to answer when she hears something extremely relatableβ’. ]
