As an Artisan, Cid is not going to be having a good time this month! I absolutely do want him to get infected. I'm very interested in exploring the body horror part of the event— especially so in Cid's case, focusing on the transformations being painful and bloody.

He's absolutely going to Venera once he learns it's the likely source of the contagion because that's just the sort of man he is.

Cid has a lot of darkness in his past, and has actually had experience with people diving into his mindscape before, so... this is somehow not new territory for him.

Important for Kenoma, though, is that he's a noncombatant. He is absolutely the sort to pick fights, but will get his ass handed to him.
