[ All that considered it certainly wouldn't surprise Ernesto if he knew the full truth both of and behind Makoto's opinions. It wouldn't necessarily change his own in this particular case though. Something about letting your feelings on humanity be swayed by a demon seems like a very poor idea.

Assuming of course he ever finds out, or that Makoto can't eventually persuade him of something else. He's certainly making a decent enough argument for why someone might want to agree to terms their captors offer them, though it'll take a lot to buy Ernesto at this point. ]
