Or into some sort of normal personality? His constant back and forth between giving and not is nothing short of confusing and does nothing to put Eustace at ease as he crouches by the riverbank. (But to be fair, very little does, so it's not all Dokja's fault.) Even as he files that tidbit of information away for later he's already wondering what Dokja isn't telling him, and what other secrets he might have tucked up his sleeves.
