The fidgeting, the furtive glance away, then that serious look directed back at him -- it's all stuff that grates at his nerves, but not enough to overcome the fact that he'd feel ridiculous starting a proper fight with someone who hasn't (and won't) say a word to him. Especially when he's already feeling crummy.
