That they even pretend is insulting. At least for us, they pretend we don't exist, if they can.

[ At least, up until the undercity became rowdy, or inconvenient. Those topside would prefer to pretend they weren't around, and that their lives didn't matter. They were not served, not even by pretense. They were an afterthought. ]

I prefer to make us unavoidable, and inconvenient. Whenever possible.
