[ Zero watched the man's body language leading up to his response carefully. It was a mixture of assessing danger and trying to gauge his response. He held his gaze and didn't shy away from Silco's direct stare - the young man was used to scarier people giving him scarier looks. Zero also had a feeling that the man wasn't one who'd necessarily take his anger out on him.
His expression softened somewhat when Silco mentioned the polluted waters and there was an understanding settling on the young man's face. He knew what it was to be the bottom of the barrel and to be treated as worth no more than the dirt in the street. Well, he was worth more than that to the wrong kind of people but he preferred not to think about it - his blood still ran hot when he thought about it too long. ]
