He was a founding member of my religion, a couple thousand years ago. I've always liked hearing his story - it's a redemption story, based on forgiveness and finding one's way out of the darkness.

I'm definitely not perfect. I've done some pretty bad things. But I like the notion that I can seek forgiveness if I need it. That I can atone for those things I've done.
