The soldiers at least seem to be somewhat permissive of the prisoners who haven't been making trouble - Yuya's relative age and size also probably helps to present him as nonthreatening. As it is, no one moves to get in his way when he ventures over to Estinien's side. At least, not yet.

For Estinien's part, he takes only a moment to rouse from his exhausted stupor, cracking open one blue eye to see who it is. Ah. A boy... and one with poor choice in friends.

"I'll make due," he murmurs, his voice an indistinct rumble. The answer seems pretty clear: he didn't, but he also doesn't want to be seen begging by the guards.
