That catches her attention. Her tail pops slightly at her surprise, though she quickly brings it back down as not to draw the ire or curious gaze of their captors. Not that she could do much about it right now, anyway...knowing how they would just restrain her should she resist.

At least one of them has to remain unbound.

"You too?" It isn't a comfort hearing that. "There were bodies outside ours...and then the soldiers waiting beyond them."

She shakes her head.

"It didn't seem like a coincidence, though I realized it could have just been very unfortunate timing. But...I'm beginning to think that was wishful thinking."
