Estinien has certainly made note of his own embedded stone, but perhaps people from his world are just more accustomed to being encrusted with magic crystals. He wonders briefly if those crystals are what they have been brought here to be harvested of... it's certainly not out of the question.

In the meantime, he tilts his head at Jensen as if he doesn't quite understand the question. Are monuments uncommon? Is that the implication? He's not sure he's ever seen a city that wasn't flush with them.

"The city-state I hail from has many structures built in the likeness of its patron goddess, Halone," he explains, this seeming to be an extremely normal thing. "That, and the legendary warriors and saints of our past. Is this concept unusual to you?"

To Estinien, Jensen just looks like another Hyur, and Hyur can be from basically anywhere.
