It's true, an apology wouldn't quite cut it... but also, he's not really looking for one. He understands there were extenuating circumstances, and it was hardly the work of her alone. She'd been built a certain way, and sent on a mission that as good as doomed her.

That doesn't necessarily make her less threatening, but being angry at her doesn't have much purpose either. He's mostly concerned with what she does now.

"'Tis clear they see us as a resource," he says. "Are you familiar with the primals of Etheirys? Or was that past your time?"

He supposes she was busy being in space while most of that was going on. Had she even seen what became of the world post-sundering?
