Estinien falls silent, staring at the fire. The stale bread he's broken apart remains uneaten in his hands as the question draws him into those same thoughts again. He doesn't want to believe what he felt, but it's impossible to shake the idea completely.

"It felt somehow alike, what I experienced. To see a vast universe, the source of it all... before moving on..." He shakes his head. "Yet, 'twas as if the process was interrupted, some... darkness dragging my spirit into the void. Yet, if so... what was it that set my soul adrift? I was more alive than I'd ever been, before I was taken."
