[ Conversation is absolutely out of Gray's comfort zone, but she did offer, and so she nods. She's surprised to find Yelena sitting with her, which makes her a little nervous, but the task of deciding what to talk about is a sufficient enough distraction to keep her from scooting away.

The most interesting thing she could talk about — the world of magecraft — is supposed to be a secret from those uninvolved, so that's off the table... though she isn't sure if the secrecy really applies here or if the authorities involved in maintaining it are even around to police her.

What else could she talk about that could possibly be interesting? ... Gray is already finding herself a little stressed. ]
