[Let them decide for themselves... Estinien scoffs to himself. As noble as Howl makes himself sound, some choices are not the sorts to be freely offered - now when the results would hurt so many. Yet, it's interesting that Howl isn't completely on board with following the instructions of his keeper. He can't imagine that will go well for him in the long term.
Howl will feel the emotional equivalent of a bestial snarl as he mentions the potion. They are still intending to use those, then? To think, that after all they went through, they would inflict the same upon others...
Whether or not this is deception, Estinien at least feels like he's being toyed with. Of course, it's not as if he's going to leave his post to avoid Howl either. If a fight is what he wants, Estinien will have no choice but to offer. After all, there are crystals in that cavern that look like they are well on their way to birthing an Aion, and he would not willingly leave them to their own devices.
So instead, he focuses on the skyline, using the estimated time of arrival that Howl has given him. After all, Howl may be inclined to make a show of this, but Estinien will happily confuse his opponent's attempts by giving a lack of information in turn.]
